" In 2019 we worked with Larry Eastman and his associate Sigi Scholten, as both a seller’s agent and buyer’s agent. Throughout the process, which was quite trying at times as you will see below, he was very responsive and calming and we are very happy with the results. We decided to list our condo at Harbour Place in May 2019 with a view to downsizing. After an initial flurry of positive showings, within a week our building was declared unsafe by the city. Due to problems with the exterior concrete walls on one side of the building, sixteen units were immediately evacuated. With the main entrance closed and not knowing what the future held, we cancelled the listing. Finally, by November, most of the repairs had been completed and the building declared safe. We were able to list again, but at a reduced price as we were facing a large assessment as a result of the building repairs. After only two showings, if I remember correctly, our unit sold at only a bit under our new asking price. We were thrilled to finally be able to move on. On the buying side, Larry and Sigi patiently showed us countless condos. We were very specific in our needs and preferences. We placed offers on three different units along the way but for various reasons they fell through. In the end, Larry helped us find the “perfect-for-us” condo, and we finally moved in early April. Throughout the process, Larry and Sigi were always available, responsive and supportive. We have recommended them to a friend who currently working with them to buy a new home. "
